Job Details
MD Anderson Cancer Center, part of The University of Texas, is seeking the Vice President, Faculty and Academic Affairs with a leadership focus on the academic life of faculty to include:
- Faculty and Academic Wellness Programs
- Center for Professionalism Standards and Support.
Additionally, the VP will participate in policies and activities regarding faculty promotion & tenure process; faculty compensation, resource & space allocations; and faculty recruitment and onboarding practices.
Qualifications: MD, PhD or MD/PhD with Faculty status; ten years as a research or clinical faculty member in an academic healthcare institution; five years of progressive leadership experience. Experience in faculty development initiatives and engagement programs.
