Department of Internal Medicine – Division of Cardiology

Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants for the position of Division Director of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine.  Academic appointment will be commensurate with credentials and experience. 

The division director will have broad responsibility for management and leadership of the division, including recruitment and evaluation of faculty and staff, management of clinical, educational, and research programs, fiscal planning and management, and short- and long-term development. The director will be expected to contribute to direct patient care.

The Division of Cardiology provides a full range of services to deliver the most innovative heart care available.  The department is seeking an exceptional individual to lead a cardiology team consisting of Electrophysiology, Interventional and General Cardiologists, as well as oversee the fully accredited cardiology fellowship program.

The successful candidate should have appropriate board certification and a substantial background in clinical or laboratory research.
