Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon
Sports Medicine Service Line Physician Leader AND Treating Clinician
Spectrum Healthcare Partners, along with our hospital partner Central Maine Health Care, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible musculoskeletal based, fellowship trained Sports Medicine Surgeon to lead the development of a multi-disciplinary sports medicine service line. Experience in program development and coordinating regional care preferred.
As a full-time treating physician, candidate will see musculoskeletal patients - new, established and follow-ups -- in both our orthopaedic and the hospital-based clinic settings along with performing surgery in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Service Line Development Duties include:
- Development of a sports medicine service line strategic plan as part of a larger MSK strategic plan
- Leading service line multi-specialty provider integration and collaboration
- Service line oversight and program/protocol/care-path development
- Development and regular reporting of key service line metrics
- Collaborating with and building relationships with community providers
- Participation in hospital/surgical quality and planning committees as indicated
