The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H+H Elmhurst is seeking a Physician (BC/BE) in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to join its full -time faculty and participate in both inpatient and outpatient care areas. Outpatient duties include chest clinic, tele visits, procedure efficacy and evaluations as well as PFT interpretation. Inpatient duties include MICU, progressive care unit, pulmonary consults and procedures. Familiarity with thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, bronchoscopies, EBUS, and intubations is preferred but will train.
Elmhurst has a certified two fellow PCCM Fellowship (six total) that grants an excellent teaching opportunity in a dynamic and rigorous academic environment. Duties also include teaching a wonderfully diverse group of medical students and residents. Furthermore, Elmhurst's affiliation with The Mount Sinai School of Medicine provides a path for advanced academic appointment and research.
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Candidates should hold a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
