The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine, seeks Clinical Associates who will care for our patients.  Clinical responsibilities will include managing patients with complex sub-specialty needs and may involve night and weekend coverage.  These positions are available at several levels of effort and specializations, and for renewable terms of up to two years.  None require teaching or scholarly activity.   Compensation is dependent on qualifications, and appointments at 50% effort and above include a generous package of fringe benefits.

Each variant requires a separate application through The University of Chicago’s Academic Recruitment job board, which uses Interfolio to accept applications.  The Interfolio system allows applicants to upload the required applications materials – a CV and a cover letter – once and to associate them with each search of interest.  We encourage jobseekers to apply to one, some, or all searches as suit them, and we will consider each application independently.  The variants are:

Full-Time Clinical Associates.  To apply, please visit http://apply.interfolio.com/78256

Nocturnists.  To apply, please visit http://apply.interfolio.com/78257

Part-Time Clinical Associates (50%).  To apply, please visit http://apply.interfolio.com/78258

Pay-Per-Shift Clinical Associates.  To apply, please visit http://apply.interfolio.com/78259
