Position Information:

The Asheville VA Medical Center (AVAMC), Asheville NC, is seeking an experienced Fellowship Trained Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Interventional Radiologist who is also BC / BE in Diagnostic Radiology for mixed Interventional (General) and Bread/Butter Diagnostic (General) Radiology practice, which includes full scope of general diagnostic and interventional imaging, to include tumor ablations and limited neuro/head radiology – no mammography or vascular radiology procedures are expected. AVMC is a tertiary care, 119-bed acute care facility located in Western North Carolina, which operates a separate 120-bed Community Living Center, serving the western North Carolina area and portions of South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.  Work Schedule:  Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with shared call responsibilities (1:8).

 

  • Must have current/active U.S. Medical License
  • Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology
