The Heart Center in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team. We currently perform over 850 cardiac surgical cases, 150 TAVR procedures, and approximately 500 thoracic surgical cases each year. All surgeries are performed at Huntsville Hospital. Call would be 1:5/6.

The practice was founded in 1981 and has since grown into a practice with 6 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 42 Cardiologists and 4 Cardiac Anesthesiologists. The group is employed by HH Heart Center, LLC which is owned by Huntsville Hospital. Huntsville Hospital is an 881 bed Level I Trauma Center and the Regional Referral Center for North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.

The position carries excellent compensation and benefits (health/dental/malpractice/disability insurance), 401k, 457(b) and 415(m); CME allowance and paid vacation.

Huntsville Hospital is an 881 bed Level I Trauma Center and the Regional Referral Center for north Alabama and southern Tennessee. The Emergency Department is a progressive 75+ bed ED that sees approximately 145,000 patient visits per year. The hospital has 24/7 Hospitalist, Radiology, Cardiology, Trauma, Orthopedic and Neurosurgical coverage.
