Responsibilities:

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking board certified/board eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join well established group of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners. 

Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is a 633-bed hospital and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in northwest Atlanta.  We are located approximately 25 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, GA. 

Physician practice will be primarily focused in Neuro rehabilitation in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab unit, consult service, outpatient clinics, and our Long-Term Acute Care Center.

Our centers are comprehensive stroke centers and are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Outpatient office responsibilities include EMG/NCS studies, trigger point and joint injections, spasticity management, and orthotics/prosthetics; office equipped with Ultrasound Capabilities for physicians wanting to incorporate this skill into their clinical practice.

Our program is patient-focused, and our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to exceptional outcomes.  Our team works together with patients and their families, we help people achieve their greatest level of independence and facilitate a smooth transition to home and community.
