Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Neurosurgery

Required Qualifications:
MD, DO, or MD/PhD or equivalent. Board Eligible/Certified in Neurosurgery. Must have New York State
medical license or be eligible for one.

Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training or additional specialized training in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. Evidence of interest in clinical or basic research.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
One full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the Department of Neurological Surgery for Board Certified or Board Eligible neurosurgeon. Position entails joining a multi- disciplinary neurosurgery practice, including elective practice and shared call. The department is comprised of neurosurgeons, spine physiatrists, neurointensivists and specially trained Advanced Practice Providers in an academic setting with research opportunities. Candidates with fellowship or additional specialized training/expertise in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery are preferred. Candidates with evidence of interest in clinical or basic research are preferred.

Special Notes:
This is Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Anticipated Start Date: July 12, 2021.
