Located in Lynchburg, northern Virginia and Richmond, OrthoVirginia has more than 100 physicians, 22 office locations, MRI facilities, outpatient surgery centers and therapy clinics.
Our Lynchburg office is comprised of eighteen physicians. We provide care for an
immediate drawing area of approximately 250,000.
We are committed to providing compassionate, full breadth musculoskeletal care to our immediate community and tertiary areas. OrthoVirginia Lynchburg office has specialists in physiatry, general orthopaedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy.
OrthoVirginia is fully integrated on the Epic platform. Our 87,000 square foot facility houses an MRI, injection suite, an after-hours clinic and expanded therapy services.
Spine surgeons joining OrthoVirginia will have an active interest in collaborative
diagnosis and treatment of spine- related disorders in the context of a multi-disciplinary Spine Center including orthopaedic surgeons, interventional physiatrists and physical therapists. Candidate would have general orthopaedic call responsibilities in a level two trauma center (1 in 13). Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible. Competitive salary and benefit package offered.

OrthoVirginia Lynchburg Virginia is located near the geographic center of the state, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, placing it close to larger metropolitan areas, such as Richmond and Washington DC. Within a short drive are beaches along the Virginia and North Carolina coasts, hiking trails and trout streams of the Blue Ridge, Smith Mountain Lake resort community, and ski slopes at Wintergreen Resort.
