Northwell Health is seeking a fulltime BC/BE academic Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH). This is an opportunity to join a growing group of 3 academic surgeons. The ideal candidate would possess excellent clinical and technical skills and take a collaborative approach to patient care. The Division is actively involved in clinical research with teaching responsibilities of vascular fellows, surgical residents, and medical students. The vascular division offers the latest technology to their patients such as fenestrated aneurysm repair, TCAR, treatment of complex aortic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms as well as a robust limb salvage program. SIUH maintains an ACGME accredited general surgery residency, one of 3 in the Northwell Health System, as well as fellowships in Vascular, Surgical Critical Care, and MIS.
Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital that spans two campuses and provides a vast array of services in health and wellness. Our 17-acre North campus houses Staten Island s most modern emergency department, a state-of-the-art education center and a medical arts pavilion.
