Position Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for full-time General Neurology faculty at any rank. Applicants who also have clinical interest or subspecialty training in neurophysiology, sleep disorders, movement disorders, or dementia are welcome. Qualified applicants may be eligible for leadership opportunities within the ambulatory practice. Academic rank and compensation, which includes a generous package of fringe benefits, are dependent upon qualifications.
The faculty member will join a growing neurosciences service line, which includes the opportunity to practice at University of Chicago’s expanding clinical locations both in and outside of our main campus in Hyde Park. The faculty member will participate in clinical, educational and research activities; including outpatient clinic, inpatient service and involvement with fellow, resident and medical student education.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) have completed an ACGME accredited residency in neurology 4) board certified or board eligible in neurology and with subspecialty certification if applicable
