Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s leading academic search firm, has partnered with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo to conduct a national search for a Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual at the rank of associate professor or professor, with fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine and significant clinical and leadership experience. Subspecialty board certification is required as well as a significant record of either educational or research success.

The successful candidate will build collaborative relationships and grow innovative programs, recruit outstanding faculty, expand clinical outreach opportunities, and develop an MFM fellowship program with a direct reporting relationship to the Department Chair.

Many different schools within the university are leading the efforts of UB 2020—an initiative to enhance educational opportunities for students—to advance research and foster community partnerships. UB 2020’s
accomplishments include a groundbreaking collaboration between the university and Kaleida Health to construct the Clinical and Translational Research Center.

The department is deeply committed to the community, contributing to the health and well-being of Western New Yorkers, particularly those with limited access to or options for medical care.
