The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, New York Medical College, seeks a PM&R physician with fellowship training in interventional spine to serve as Director of the Outpatient Division of Spine and Sports Care at NYC Health + Hospitals / Metropolitan. Position will be responsible for the development of an interventional spine program, clinical administrative oversight of the outpatient division, development and expansion of outpatient rehabilitation services, resident education and training in interventional spine care, development of a PM&R MSK fellowship program, and medical student education. Metropolitan Hospital is the primary training site for the NYMC PM&R residency training program and also serves as a participating site for the medical student 3rd year clerkship and 4th year clinical electives in PM&R. The directorship is a leadership position and will be expected to collaborate closely with orthopedic surgery and anesthesiology in the expansion of the outpatient musculoskeletal care and pain management services within the institution. The position includes a full-time academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
