The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine, Section of Rheumatology in New Orleans, seeks an enthusiastic, successful, faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) for a full time faculty position at LSU Health Sciences Center.
The successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Candidate will participate in clinical service as well as didactics and educational programming with the fellows. Clinical work will include private patient care clinics within the LSU Network as well as a fellow-led patient care clinic at the state-of-the-art University Medical Center New Orleans. Experience is preferred, but junior faculty with excellent training and a special interest in teaching should apply. LSUHSC offers an excellent benefit package and salary is commensurate with experience.
Candidate should be an MD or equivalent, board certified or have an intended certification and have a license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana, prior to the start date.
