Job Description

Our client is looking for a Medical Director to fill a position in Santa Rosa. The Medical Director will mentor and lead clinicians to embrace a joyful and respectful work environment to achieve high quality individual and population level health goals in a sustainable manner. Just 55 miles north of San Francisco, in the urban heart of wine country, you'll find Santa Rosa: a city with a cool vibe and vibrant culture waiting to be explored. Santa Rosa is the happening hub for all there is to see, do, eat, drink, hike, bike and explore in Sonoma County.

Details:
• Provide for the diagnosis and treatment of health center patients within the scope of his/her license to practice medicine
• Provide follow up on patients seen including chart notations, lab review, and referrals to specialists
• Recruitment and retention activities in collaboration with CMO and Human Resources Recruiting Team
• Perform or delegate processes for all licensed medical providers
• Respond to staff and provider concerns
• Provide feedback and evaluations
• Oversee clinical staff development
• Actively participate with the integrated team
• Lead or delegate provider and staff meetings
• Meet regularly with the CMO
• Responsible for the overall quality of patient care
• Monitor and oversee practice management to meet patient’s needs
• Provide strategic support to operations staff
• Responsible for timely, accurate submission of timekeeping processes to payroll
• Participate in ongoing training

Qualifications
• Active California MD medical license in good standing with the Medical Board
• Active DEA license
• Active X-license welcome
• Five years of clinical experience required
• Five years of leadership experience required
• Clinical management experience or training preferred
• Experience in neurodevelopmental clinical medicine preferred
• Experience working with electronic medical records required
• eClincialWorks experience preferred.
