Job Description
The Telemedicine Urgent Care Physician is responsible for treating patients by providing clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic care consults while completing administrative tasks as needed.
Details:
• Permanent, full-time position
• Remote telemedicine
• 90% telephone consults, 10% video consults
• Must complete a minimum of 5 consults per hour, 200 consults per week, and 800 consults per month
• Two on-call shifts every two weeks
• Extensive training provided
• Complete timely and accurate medical records
• Prescribe medications as needed
• EMR: Cloud-based proprietary system

Qualifications
• Valid, unrestricted DEA registration
• Maintain active participation in Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Board Certified in Family, Emergency, or Internal Medicine
• Must be four years post-residency
• Must have a minimum of 3 state licenses
• 2 of the state licenses must be in Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, or California
• Complete all CME’s as required by state
