Job Description

Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist needed in Winchester, VA. Join a team whose goal is to offer a compassionate, supportive, and nurturing environment to their patients. The primary focus of the Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist is to provide mental health services to a full spectrum of adolescent patients in a safe space.

Winchester is located in the northern part of Virginia, part of the Shenandoah Valley region. The region is full of artistic culture with concerts, play, and operas. It is home to the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival which is a great event for the whole family. If you like the outdoors, there are nearby trails, George Washington National Forest, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Winchester is also full of history with many museums and is only 75 miles from Washington DC.

Details:
• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexible scheduling and location options
• 100% outpatient
• Average 10 - 15 patients per day
• Limited, shared, and flexible call
• Undertake assessments, evaluation, and diagnosis
• Prescribe and manage medication
• Maintain case and progress notes
• Provide psychotherapy

Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Valid Virginia medical license, or willing to obtain
• Current DEA
• H1B visa accepted
