Job Details

Crozer Keystone Health Network, part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, is seeking a board certified/eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our expanding perinatal practice.  In this busy, hospital-based, consultative practice, MFM call is shared among 3 Perinatologists. There is also an opportunity to participate in labor and delivery coverage with resident teaching.  An adjunct academic professorship is a part of this position. This is a full-time position but less than full time will be considered for the right candidate with that need.

Crozer-Keystone Health Network provides a large referral base of almost 30 obstetricians, performing approximately 2800 deliveries system wide, of which 20% are high risk. Our physicians are integral to a freestanding OB/GYN residency program with a total of 12 residents. Members of the Center for Perinatal Medicine are responsible for teaching residents through the supervision of the weekly High Risk Clinic and management of patients on the inpatient antepartum service.

The Center for Perinatal Medicine is an AIUM accredited practice, currently providing services to Crozer Chester Medical Center (CCMC) and Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH). These services include a full complement of imaging, invasive and non-invasive screening, diagnostic and therapeutic options, fetal testing, and dedicated genetic counseling. In 2020, we expect our ultrasound volume to top 7500, with over 2700 testing visits.

CCMC is a 300-bed teaching hospital, admitting nearly 20,000 patients, treating approximately 50,000 Emergency Department patients, and delivering about 1800 infants a year, with a Level 3 NICU. DCMH is a 170-bed community hospital that offers a broad range of acute and specialized services with more than 1,000 deliveries each year.

Since its beginning, the Crozer-Keystone Health System has been a dominant provider of women’s health care in Delaware County Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and western New Jersey. The mission of the Center for Perinatal Medicine is to continue to expand services throughout this region, providing high quality comprehensive consultative care for both low and high risk women during their pregnancy.
