Well-established, dynamic and thriving sub-specialized private orthopedic practice headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking an equally dynamic, BC/BE fellowship trained, specialist to join our team. OrthoIllinois has multiple locations throughout the northern Illinois region, including four clinics, nine rehabilitation centers and one ambulatory surgery center.

Since its founding in 1967, OrthoIllinois has grown to become the region s largest provider of musculoskeletal care. As we continue to expand, we currently seek a physician specializing in the area of Hand, Wrist and Elbow dedicated to providing the Highest Standard of Care for our state-of-the-art facility in Algonquin.

The OrthoIllinois Hand, Wrist and Elbow Center is one of the largest centers of upper extremity specialists in Illinois. Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons provide treatment of the entire spectrum of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions, from complex hand or elbow reconstruction to chronic conditions like arthritis. Complementing our state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical techniques, is an on-site Hand Therapy Department, where multiple certified hand therapists provide the essential post-operative care needed to optimize the outcome of surgery.

OrthoIllinois is truly a one-stop convenience for patient care, equipped with digital radiology, MRI, PACs, EMR; various specialty centers including rehabilitation therapy, infusion therapy, orthotic and prosthetic lab, research center; and a walk-in injury clinic providing internal referrals to specialists.

This position offers:

  • Potential physician income above MGMA 90th percentile
  • 3-5 days call per month with trauma sub-specialty back-up
  • Academic affiliation with Rush University Medical Center and University of Illinois School of Medicine
  • Medical privileges at the following Algonquin Hospitals: Advocate Sherman, Northwestern Huntley/Woodstock/McHenry, Amita St. Joseph and Algonquin Road Surgery Center
