This newly created position affords the opportunity to participate in population based care management, virtual care of chronic conditions and introduction of new care management models for diabetes. In this role, the physician will spend a significant amount of time as a member of the regional Quality and Population Health Division under the direction of the Associate Medical Director of Quality.

Requirements Candidate must be board certified in Endocrinology and have or can obtain active medical licenses in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia.
Endocrinologist must be able to do US guided thyroid FNA on all nodules and must treat all Transgender patients. Ability to manage Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes patients including insulin pumps is required.
