California Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine – Join an Established and Reputable Hospitalist Group

One Hospital/One Clinic Location – Focusing on ICU, COVID-19, and Outpatient Pulmonary Patients

Employed Starting at $400,000 a Year Plus Full Comprehensive Benefits or 1099 Model

Join the largest Hospitalist group in the city and practice at the largest hospital in the county. You will be stepping into an established and incredibly reputable Hospitalist group established for more than 25 years in this beautiful community.

  • Two Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians are staffed in the hospital every day
  • 11 total physicians are staffed every day, 9 Hospitalists and 2 PUD/CCs
  • All 3 PUD/CCs are independent – inpatient and outpatient private clinic
  • Only one week a month will be in the ICU covering ICU patients
  • The schedule is 7 days on inpatient ICU and 3 weeks off (COVID ICU, outpatient, and consults)
  • The hospital shifts will be 10-hours from 7 am to 5 pm
  • Two days a week in the office providing outpatient pulmonary medicine
  • Only covering one hospital location and one clinic location – right next to one another
  • Main ICU is 24-beds, two 10-bed ICUs for COVID patients (strictly COVID-19 patients) not at full capacity, one 9-bed Neuro ICU that has been taken over for COVID patients, and one 9-bed overflow makeshift ICU
  • Consults at the burn unit if they are sick only and not just recovering from burns
  • Regular ICU call is 5 nights of call, your own patients, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • The remaining three weeks will be rotating between all 4 PUD/CCs – about 2 extra days
  • ICU call rotations start on Friday, then 3-day weekend to rest the following weekend
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • The clinic has a chemistry lab on-site, X-Ray, and 2 PFT labs
  • Job Requirements: Physician with MD/DO degree – Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible with a valid medical license
  • Position is not J1 or H1B visa eligible
