The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit is seeking a board eligible/certified Gastroenterologist. Henry Ford Medical Group is one of the nation’s largest group practices with 1,900 physicians and researchers in more than 40 specialties. The Division of Gastroenterology employs 36 Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists making us the largest subspecialty GI practice in Detroit and the surrounding suburbs. We are supported by 7 APPs, a full time clinical psychologist, 241 support staff and have several sub specialty groups including liver transplantation, IBD, motility, interventional GI and hepatology. The Division provides outpatient clinic and endoscopy services at Henry Ford Hospital and 7 suburban satellites as well as inpatient consultative services at Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology trains 16 fellows per year and supports additional fellowship training in both interventional GI and transplant hepatology.
Responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients with a variety of GI disorders, teaching of fellows, residents and students in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and supervision of GI focused mid-level providers. Academic appointment through affiliation with Wayne State School of Medicine and is commensurate with training and experience.
