Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Opportunity
Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa has an excellent full time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician to be part of a well-established practice located in Mason City, Iowa.
The selected candidate will join a department of two Pulmonologists, five Internists, one Rheumatologist, one Neurologist, ten Hospitalists and one PA. This is a hospital-employment opportunity to practice in a Level II trauma center with an 18-bed Critical Care unit.
Call coverage for this opportunity is 1:3.
The outpatient clinic practice setting is enhanced by close access to inpatients, on site medical imaging, a wide range of specialists for consults, a sleep lab, electronic medical records, PACS and a full-service medical library. The team consists of ten physician hospitalists that manage most admissions from the ED.
Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa has been recognized nine years as a Thomson-Reuter's "Top 100 Hospital" nationally for clinical outcomes, effective management and growth. On site post-graduate education programs are available including a four-year Cardiology Fellowship and a Family Practice Residency.
