Ithaca, NY is a unique university town on Cayuga Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. Small private group of radiologists, most subspecialty fellowship trained, seek Interventional Radiologist to join current IR and be the 7th in a practice that covers a 200 bed community hospital, Schuyler Hospital and two outpatient centers.

Will consider fellowship trained, certified IR and/or radiologist with experience and interest in simple image guided procedures (biopsies, thoracenteses, etc).

Job Description:

    Current endovascular IR practice includes Peripheral Arterial Disease, Women s Health (mostly UFE), IVC filter management, long term venous access and occasional Interventional Oncology procedures. Hospital employed Interventional Nephrologist does his own hemodialysis cases and TDCs. Must be able and willing to do general diagnostic radiology in addition to endovascular IR and simple image guided procedures. Full digital/pacs/voice recognition/ overnight telerad coverage. Five GE CT including two 16 slice, one 32 slice large bore, one 64 slice, and one 128 slice PET CT. State of the art MRI including two 1.5T and one 3T. Desirable schedule and compensation. Partnership track position. Part-time employee position also an option Acclaimed school district.
