Guaranteed salary, 3-year employment agreement, plus RVU production and Sign-On Bonus Available
Perform professional medical services in the examination, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients, within the limits of experience and professional training. Provide appropriate patient instruction and/or consultation with family or significant other, as needed.
Record examination, diagnosis and treatment notes, meeting record documentation requirements. Provide clearly written orders, and be available to nursing staff for direction, support and clarification of the medical plan of care.
Attend Medical Staff Meetings as designated.
Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, organizational, and departmental statutes, standards, policies, and procedures.
Participate in review and revision of relevant policies, procedures manuals, and protocols.
Provide direct and /or supervisory anesthesia care (pre-operative, operative, and post-operative) that meets nationally recognized standards.
Perform General orthopedic surgery with the ability to incorporate a portion of subspecialty interests/training.
Fellowship training in Hand & Upper Extremities, Spine or Foot & Ankle is a plus.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Degree
- Completion of a clinical residency program and or Orthopedic fellowship
- Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Orthopedic Surgery or related subspecialty
- Successful completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
- Arizona State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
