The Yale School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position. We welcome scholars from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds including, but not limited to: clinical epidemiology, clinical trials, comparative effectiveness, implementation science, pharmacoepidemiology, operations research, or health economics. The rank will be commensurate with experience.

An MD or other doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, Dr PH, ScD, DBA), by the start of appointment, and post-doctoral research experience is required, as well as evidence of potential for a scholarly career that will include publications and successful grant writing. For physicians, Board Certification or Eligibility in Addiction Medicine is encouraged.

The successful candidate will be part of the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine situated in the Department of Internal Medicine’s Section of General Internal Medicine. Important content areas closely aligned with a focus on common forms of substance use and addiction include prevention, treatment, controlled substance prescribing, pain, cannabinoids, stimulants, tobacco, overdose, HIV, and Hepatitis C. 

This candidate will be expected to work collaboratively across various departments in the School of Medicine and graduate schools at Yale and have or develop an externally funded research program leading to top tier peer-reviewed publications.
