Our Clinic:  Mendocino Community Health Clinic (MCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Clinic which offers medical, dental and behavioral health services. 

Our "Care for Her" Team:  Consists of three board certified OB/GYN's supervising a dynamic team of eight CNM;s and two WHNP's.  

Our Position:  Collaborative care model, full-time (4 day work week), CNM’s take first call!  OB/GYN's share 1:4 call to back up our experienced and talented midwives.  Care for Her patients are seen for regular scheduled appointments in our outpatient clinic and for hospital based surgeries and deliveries at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley (8 minutes from our clinic).  This practice has a nice blend of clinic and surgical care for broad spectrum treatment, encompassing most aspects of obstetrical and gynecological care.

Our Hope:  To find a a board certified or board eligible Ob/Gyn who is licensed in California and has experience contributing to and partining in team practice decisions.  A provider with excellent supervisory skills including effective communition and clinical mentorship. In searching for the right candidate, our highest priorities are clinical excellence and a great fit with our team.  Spanish language skills helpful.  Our Medical Director states that she is looking for a full-time physician who is “engaged with patients and colleagues, prefers to be busy/active, and who enjoys working in a team environment.” 

Our Community:  As you consider a new place to call your professional and personal home, there are a few things about our community that you should know!  Ukiah is located in Mendocino County, 2.25 hrs. north of San Francisco and 1 hour inland from the Pacific Ocean.
