337-bed not-for-profit regional hospital has a hospital-employed position available in our vascular surgery practice!

Come join this well-established practice and need a third physician to join them. In September 2010, the hospital opened a new 24-bed dedicated heart/vascular unit, with the vascular surgeons having 24/7 access to the angio-suite. The physicians' office is within The Heart Institute, sharing a beautiful office space with the hospital's two cardiothoracic surgeons, Dr. Randy Carter, and Dr. Paul Moore.

The Bowling Green area has beautiful rolling, green hills; mild four-season weather with 265 "blue sky" days a year; a city population of 56,000 with a 10-county patient population of over 300,000. Since we are only one hour north of Nashville, Tennessee on I-65, there is easy access to the Nashville International Airport. We are also "home" to Western Kentucky University - the second largest state university in Kentucky with an enrollment of over 21,000 students.

The community and medical staff are culturally and religiously diverse. Bowling Green has national award-winning public and private schools with a community committed to educational excellence.

We have over forty city and county parks with hiking, jogging, biking trails, fishing, horseback riding, sailing, caving, public and private golf courses, and a variety of community sports. And, we're home to the "Corvette" and our minor league baseball team, the Bowling Green Hot Rods. Additional community activities include our skate park, soccer complex, repertory theatre, concert series, farmer's markets, international fair, and a variety of national, local, and ethnic restaurants (Greek, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Bosnia, Chinese, Mexican .....)
