The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology is actively recruiting a BC/BE pediatric rheumatologist to join our growing academic practice at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.

Our Division is comprised of 4 faculty including 3 attending pediatric rheumatologists and a clinical psychologist, 2 very experienced nurse practitioners, a dedicated RN, pediatric physical and occupational therapists, a pediatric social worker and a diverse and talented group of administrative support staff.  The division has an ACGME accredited pediatric rheumatology fellowship, including opportunity for combined fellowship training in both adult and pediatric rheumatology, basic science and clinical research are active in the division and robust support exists in the department and institution for physician investigators, both junior and established.  Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester is a new and state of the art facility with comprehensive services and recognized as the premier quaternary care pediatric institution in central and western New York state.   

The position will entail an academic appointment in the Division commensurate with experience. Activities will include patient care, supervision of fellows, residents and medical students and scholarly endeavors.  Applicants are required to have an MD, be BC/BE in pediatric rheumatology and be eligible for licensure in the State of New York.  The position includes a competitive salary, research support, and generous start-up funding.
