Neurologist (Academic) Inpatient/Outpatient - Charm of Rhode Island Coastal Living

Roger Williams Medical Center (RWMC) an affiliate of CharterCARE Health Partners (CCHP) is seeking a full-time Neurologist to join a highly respected Physician in Providence, Rhode Island. In this desirable faculty appointed hospital employed position, you will enjoy working Monday through Friday during regular business hours which 25% to 50% is dedicated to inpatient hours and 50% to 75% is dedicated to outpatient hours with shared rotational call coverage. The physician will also support RWMC’s widely known stroke program that is recognized by The Joint Commission and the American Heart Association.  We are interested in a physician who has a passion to teach the residents of RWMC, puts patient care at the forefront, and demonstrates exceptional delivery of quality and compassionate focused healthcare.

CharterCARE provides seamless patient access to a wide range of prominent quality and caring physician specialists along with and treatment services in acute care, cancer care, oncology /bone marrow transplant, geriatric health, surgical, and behavioral health available at RWMC and associated clinical services at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital (OLF). Each community hospitals represents a unique clinical talent comprised of more than 400 beds and 550 medical staff members. RWMC is also a well-respected leader in academic research. Its academic program precepts internal medicine students from Brown University and Boston University, has an exceptional transition rate from internal medicine to fellowship.

CLINICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical trained (MD or DO) and residency trained in Neurology (or soon eligible)
• Rhode Island licensed (or soon eligible) and Board Certified (or soon eligible)
• Federal DEA/Rhode Island controlled substance licensed (or soon eligible)
