Physician - Physiatrist (Non-Surgical Spine)

Franciscan Medical Group is actively recruiting a Physical Medicine & Rehab Physician to join our Franciscan Medical Group in Tacoma, WA.

The position is a Monday-Friday full-time role with future oversight of 1 APC (PA/NP).  The position requires 36 patient contact hours per week for Full-Time status.  This is a non-surgical position with no ED call requirement.  

X-ray and the availability to do injections onsite.  The physician will also provide EMG/NCS onsite with referrals from ortho and neurosurgery teams.  She/He will work with APC support and will have a RN, MA, x-ray tech, and admin support staff.  Clinic will treat back pain patients who are deemed non-surgical and can refer to ortho or neuro as appropriate if surgery is indicated at any point in time.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Medical Degree
• ACGME Accredited Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Experience collaborating with surgeons and other team members regarding spine (non-acute back pain or neck pain).  

License/Certification Requirements:

• Washington Medical license in good standing
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
