Kent has a Cardiac ICU, a Neuro ICU and a general ICU, Milford has a general ICU.  In-patient Pediatrics are covered by Pediatric Hospitalists at Kent General Hospital.  Kent also has a 14 bed observation unit run by ED APP’s with private attendings rounding.

A director is needed for this new ED.  ED volume is growing and Bayhealth is looking for a dynamic leader to assume the leadership mantle from a highly respected Director who is relocating for family reasons.  Clinical/Admin split is 70/30.  The new Director will also be credentialed to work at the Kent Campus in Dover, a 58,000 volume ED.

Delaware is consistently rated as one of the lowest cost of living states in which to either raise a family or retire, as we have no sales tax and property tax rates are among the lowest in the country. You'll be amazed how far your dollars will go (and how quickly you can pay off your loans) living and practicing in Delaware. And we are a quick drive to Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia.
