Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) is an independent group of 114 board certified Emergency Medicine physicians based in Raleigh, NC. We have immediate openings, as well as available positions in the Summer of 2020, for BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physicians in Rocky Mount, North Carolina at the Nash UNC Health Care Emergency Department.  Rocky Mount is an easy 45-minute drive from Raleigh and 2 hours from North Carolina beaches. The Nash UNC Health Care Emergency Department saw nearly 70,000 patients this past year.  The Emergency Department is backed by a 280-bed acute care facility, which includes 24/7 Cardiac Intervention services, the Nash Heart Center and a Primary Stroke Center.  As an affiliate of the UNC Healthcare system, Nash UNC Health Care has the resources of the UNC system available to its providers and patients in eastern North Carolina.

Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) is an independent group of 114 board-certified emergency medicine physicians and 86 physician assistants and nurse practitioners based in Raleigh, NC. Though WEPPA was founded in Wake County, we’ve been busy growing and we now staff several emergency departments in neighboring Johnston, Nash and Granville counties. In addition to seven emergency departments within the WakeMed Health and Hospital system in Raleigh, we currently staff two emergency departments within the Johnston UNC Health Care system in Clayton and Smithfield (30 and 45 minutes from central Raleigh respectively), as well as Granville Medical Center in Oxford, NC (1 hour from central Raleigh) and the emergency department at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC (50 mins from central Raleigh).  We welcome your applications for this Nash opportunity!
