Position Description:

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Internal Medicine and Oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students and residents. Academic Clinicians must participate in a minimum of 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients on the oncology services at the Vinmec Health System and at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

The Center for Global Health at the Perelman School of Medicine seeks candidates to serve as Director of the Penn Medicine Center for Excellence in Oncology – Vietnam. The primary responsibility of the position is to oversee the clinical and research functions of the Center, which is jointly held with the Vinmec Health System. The position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam however rotations for clinical service at Penn is anticipated. The Director will interface with senior leaders in oncology and global health at Penn and Vinmec to plan and implement the Center strategy including all aspects of clinical training, healthcare provision, the interface with research, and program management. There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
