Position Description

The University of Florida, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is currently recruiting candidates committed to providing a high standard of patient care and passionate about advancing the field of gynecology through teaching and clinical research to join our team as a full-time, non-tenure track faculty as Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Compensation is competitive and we offer a generous benefits package. 

Applicants seeking a rewarding career in academic medicine and who have a strong interest in undergraduate and graduate medical education are encouraged to apply. This position offers excellent clinical and teaching opportunities.  Act as an obstetrician-gynecologist-generalist, sharing with other faculty physicians the duties of inpatient and outpatient clinical care, performing major and minor gynecologic surgery.  Participate in assigned hospital, medical school, and department committees.  Attend and support department activities (rounds, special lectures, postgraduate courses, etc.)

Qualifications

Required: Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
