The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking candidates for the Division Chair of Urogynecology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Urogynecologist visionary to lead our practice. The Division of Urogynecology offers extensive exposure to managing complex benign pelvic surgery beyond incontinence and prolapse, including treating a broad spectrum of disorders affecting the lower genitourinary tract. In addition, you’ll treat a wide range of urogynecologic and femal pelvic medicine conditions, congenital anomalies, neuro-urology, and experience radical pelvic surgery, complex abdominal surgery and colorectal surgery through a multispecialty approach. Specialists from obstetrics, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation combine to form a comprehensive team for evaluation and management. The division also supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

License or certification

Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in OB/GYN with advanced fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with special expertise to augment the academic practice and have attained academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor with evidence of continued scholarly activity. The successful candidate will be strongly engaged in the clinical practice, have progressive leadership experience with demonstrated achievements in promoting quality initiatives and practice innovation, and have the ability to mentor junior members of the division by creating connections regionally and nationally.
