Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist for coverage, starting October 21, 2019

**URGENT**

Assignment Overview:

• 10/21-10/24 & 10/28-10/31
• The facility will also have future dates pop as needed. Usually 4-6 per month
• 7:30AM - 3:30PM all days
• No call; no weekends

Additional Details:

• Procedures: 80% General; 15% OB; complex orthopedic 5%
• Facility has 5,000 surgical cases a year
• Facility has annual volume of 18,000 visits
• 4 other Anesthesiologists in practice; will also provide coverage during dates
• 6 Operating rooms. Equipment: GE Aespire View anesthesia machines, Glidescope, GE logic Q US machine, Omni cell
• Currently 4 CRNAs and 4 MDAs, 2 anesthesia providers off on FMLA, Anesthesia aide, approximately 10 circulators and 10 scrub techs, 3 Gen Surgeons, 3 OB/Gyns, 4 ortho, 2 dentists, 3 ENT, 3 urologists, 3 Ophthalmologists, 1 spine surgeon, 1 podiatrist
• EMR: Mostly paper, some Meditech and Integrity
• 1 week processing time for privilege application

General procedures:

• Surgical cases including general, ENT, gynecologic, urologic, vascular, orthopedic, and other routine surgeries; adult; pediatric;
• Spinal anesthesia
• Epidural anesthesia
• Regional anesthesia
• Obstetrical cases
• Complex orthopedic cases
• Acute pain management procedures
• Ventilation mgmt.( establishing and maintaining an airway; various
modes of ventilation)
• Eval. and mgmt. of acute volume / BP issues
• Insertion of central line & arterial line
• Labor Epidurals

Requirements:

• BC or BE w/in 5 years of residency
• Clean history
• BLS (AHA) & ACLS
• MI CSR
• Provider must be able to cover at least half the dates to be considered
• MI and MISCR license

COMPENSATION
200 / hour
