Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncology (Gyn/Onc) Physician for our Danbury and Norwalk Hospital locations in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are located about 50-60 miles northeast of New York City, near the border of Westchester and Putnam counties in New York State. This is an established and busy practice with teaching responsibilities to residents and medical students and anticipated plans for a Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship beginning next year under the leadership of our Chair, Dr. Linus Chuang. Our hospitals have state of the art da Vinci robotic systems and excellent physician assistant support. Position includes opportunity for academic appointment.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Gyn Onc and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team and support staff. Coverage will be divided between our Danbury and Norwalk locations. Danbury Hospital is supported by our OB/GYN residency program and Norwalk Hospital has 24/7 OB/GYN hospitalist coverage. There is opportunity for faculty appointment with University of Vermont as well as translational and clinical research opportunities in addition to potential leadership roles within the OB/GYN Department for interested candidates. We are a full member of the NRG Gynecologic Oncology Group.
