OB Laborist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is recruiting for a full time laborist to become a member of the program that we have implemented.  Candidates for this position must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.

This is a full time position with regularly scheduled shifts that are from 12 to 14 hours and include weekends and nights.

Qualified candidates will provide inpatient coverage for Labor and Delivery, OB triage, the post partum floor and Emergency Department consults. Responsibilities also include supervising and teaching residents as part of our ACGME certified program.

The Birth Place at Sinai Hospital is an integral part of the Baltimore community. We perform 2,000 births annually and have a Level 3 NICU. The unit is further supported by our team of Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists for high risk pregnancies. The divisions of Gynecologic Oncology and Urogynecology are also available for surgical support as indicated.
