Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician
The Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician at Great River Health System will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of respiratory disorders of patients. He will analyze all available data including medical history, physical examination, laboratory findings, imaging, and spirometry and perform bronchoscopy and other tests as needed. Other duties will include the management of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit as well as performing airway management, ventilator management, cardiovascular stabilization, central line placement, and intubation, among other procedures. The Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician will also be available when on call for emergent pulmonary or critical care consultations.
Minimum requirements are: MD or DO or foreign equiv, completion of internal medicine residency training program and pulmonology/critical care fellowship training program, an Iowa medical license, and the ability to obtain staff privileges at Great River Medical Center.
