The Department of Surgery and the Division of Podiatric Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are recruiting an experienced podiatric foot and ankle surgeon to work in a multi-specialty, hospital-based group. The successful candidate will provide clinical care at the main Medical Center and its community based clinical care centers. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.  Minimum requirements include completion of a residency from an accredited Podiatric Surgical Residency program, extensive experience in hindfoot reconstructive surgery, and be board qualified or board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Strong academic participation on a local or national level is highly desired. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor will be commensurate with experience, training and achievement in the field.  Responsibilities will include patient care, research, on-call coverage, and teaching residents, students and fellows.
