SBH Health System, a 400+ bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York and affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a Divisional Director for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical, administrative and communication skills and be committed to delivering  high quality care to an underserved population, establishing education programs for residents and medical students, and leading quality improvement initiatives.  The Critical Care Division consists of a Medical ICU (MICU) and an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), both run as closed units under the supervision of an on-site intensivist.  The Pulmonary Division consists of a robust clinic with approximately 4500 visits per year and an inpatient consultative service.  The clinic offers comprehensive services including lung cancer screening, biologic therapy for asthma, and smoking cessation. 

A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required.   Academic appointments at the CUNY School of Medicine and/or the Albert Einstein College of Medicine are commensurate with credentials and experience.  Spanish proficiency is desirable.

Candidates must possess a New York State license and have a current DEA.
