Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics sought to participate in programs within the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology and serve as an attending physician within the division, providing medical management of normal newborns assigned to the neonatology service. Medically manage NICU newborns assigned to neonatology service; round on NICU babies, enters orders, writes progress notes, updates parents, and performs procedures as needed. Contribute to the teaching responsibilities of the Department including participation in the Division’s courses for medical students and teaching and supervising residents, fellows, and graduate students. Expected to give didactic lectures in the classroom setting, and hands-on training for medical students, interns, residents and fellows.  Expected to serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees.  Will perform clinical research related to neonatal medicine. Worksite is in Fayette County, KY. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, on call as needed. Requirements-MD/ECFMG equivalent,  BE/BC Neonatology, KY medical license,
