NYU School of Medicine (NYUSOM) seeks full time physicians for the new Express Care Center at NYC Health + Hospitals / Woodhull, a 400-bed, level II trauma teaching hospital, serving the Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick communities of Northern Brooklyn.

Successful candidates will be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine. The new Express Care will treat a mixed population of adults and children in a newly renovated space in close proximity to the Emergency Department.  New staff would be members of the Emergency Department and be eligible to work in either the Express Care or the ED. Our Emergency Department treats approximately 105,000 patients annually and maintains a separate excellent Pediatric Emergency Department.  We are well equipped with ultrasound and CT within the ED.  Excellent nursing support, specialty backup, and resident rotators exist throughout the department.  A separately staffed and managed Psychiatric Emergency Department is on site as well.

We offer a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits package including CME, and NYUSOM faculty appointment if desired.  For immediate consideration, please send your CV and cover letter, indicating “URGENT CARE PHYSICIAN” in the subject line to:
