St. Mary Medical Center, a level II trauma center, is located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and has served the inhabitants of Bucks County for more than 40 years. Perched on 53 acres overlooking portions of Core Creek Park, St. Mary Medical Center is the most comprehensive medical center in the area. St. Mary Medical Center boasts several Centers of Excellence to include: St. Mary Hearth and Vascular Center, Regional Cancer Center, St. Mary Orthopedic Center, St. Mary Emergency Department and Trauma Center and more.

• 371 bed, community-based medical center
• 40 bed ICU - mixed ICU with medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro and trauma patients
• 6 full-time intensivists with 4 advanced practitioners
• Modified block schedule

St. Mary Medical Center has recently started an ACGME- accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program that will allow physicians in training to experience high-quality patient care with board-certified critical care physicians.

Education, Training & Experience Required

• MD or DO
• Must be board certified or board eligible in critical care medicine.
• Ability to work as a team member
• Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, be forward-thinking and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary in this environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting
