Psychiatry Residency Director

Exciting New Opportunity in the Philadelphia Suburbs!

The Psychiatry Residency Director is responsible for the day to day administration of the ACGME residency/fellowship training program. The Program Director develops and maintains the educational quality of the training program and ensures compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.  Ideal candidate should have Strong Familiarity with ACGME Guidelines and be Board Certified in Psychiatry.

The Residency Director should be knowledgeable about compliance and regulatory requirements at the various training sites in which their residents rotate.

The Residency Director is responsible for developing engaging curriculum, coordinating didactic lectures, integrating principles with the medical curriculum, overseeing education/ clinical care in all program-related patient care areas, and both supervising as well facilitating medical care to the residency program patients.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO; Board Certified
  • 3 Years’ experience in Psychiatry.
  • Excellent Written and Oral skills required.
  • Ability to work independently, to initiate tasks, and complete necessary tasks within prescribed time frames within the residency program.
