The Central Alabama Veteran Health Care System in beautiful Montgomery, Alabama is seeking an energetic Gastroenterologist to provide consultation and treatment for patients in all patient care settings and performs diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures.

Opportunity allows you to: 

  • Perform outpatient examinations provide consultation services related to gastroenterology to the medical staff
  • Admit and manage inpatients with various gastrointestinal diseases
  • oversees the administration of conscious sedation,
  • Perform GI “bread & butter” procedures
  • Attend Gastroenterology team meetings

Recruitment/Relocation incentive is authorized for highly qualified applicants.

The Education Debt Reduction programs offers eligible applicants up to $200,000 (tax free!) for reimbursement of qualifying educational loans.

Work Schedule: Outstanding work hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30p.m. and call is negotiable currently.

Basic Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • BC/BE Gastroenterologist
  • Full & Unrestricted Medical License from any state or P.R.
