Overview

Goshen Health is looking for a full-time Occupational Medicine physician to work in their outpatient facility. Position is located at the Urgent Care facility. This is a newly built, standalone gorgeous facility.

Physician will be the first Occupational Medicine physician on board so the candidate must be a go-getter as volume necessitates full-time work. Candidate will be the sole provider so should be passionate about building the service up. Goshen Health has entered into ‘Direct Care’ relationships with local factories, which result in numerous work-related injuries.

Search is open due to community need/volume increase.

Work schedule will vary.

Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Open to new graduate or experienced physician.

Community Description

We are located 35 minutes from South Bend (home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish), 1.5-2 hours East of Chicago, 3 hours North of Indianapolis, and 1-hour Northwest of Ft. Wayne. The central location is convenient as one can enjoy summers on the beaches of Lake Michigan, skiing/winter activities in Michigan, day trips to Chicago, and weekends to southern Indiana for camping and hiking. It is the perfect mix of rural living with easy access to larger urban areas and major cities. We also have biking trails throughout the community, local state parks for camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and plenty of local golf courses. Watersports are also a big part of life here, as there are many lakes in the area!
