Position Description:
We are actively seeking a full time intensivist to work with three other board-certified intensivists at Penn Medicine, Chester County Hospital. This facility is one of six hospitals in the University of Pennsylvania Health System and is located just west of Philadelphia in the historic college town of West Chester, PA.

Currently, the group is a Leapfrog compliant critical care service supported by 10 critical care nurse practitioners that providers 24/7 in-house coverage for a 14 bed medical surgical ICU and a 6 bed CVU. We are opening a new 24-bed combined ICU/CVU unit in March of 2020. This is a fully mature critical care service, well integrated into the overall mission of Penn Medicine. There is no outpatient service. The work schedule includes nights and weekends and has proven to be sustainable over time.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Critical Care by the American Board of Internal Medicine
